The conference started on the Fourth of July and its end today the seventh of July 2010 at Rhodes University here In Eastern Cape Province. The first day I attend the conference I was really surprised seeing many journalists in the conference, but it was really nice to meet them.
The conference was really wonderful, very good from day one till this last. It was well organised and their speech was really inspiring and encouraging. It was critically important to me as I experienced a lot of things from it that I did not know before. I made sure that I attend all the session from day one till this last day of the conference. We met different people from different countries and professional journalists took part in this conference.
We had delicious food; they served us from the first day we arrived here with some delicious break fast, lunch and dinner, we never starved since we arrived here. There transport was available to take us to the places of lunch and dinner and return us back to our conference place and sometimes to the residence. We really enjoyed there foods.
I learned a lot in the conference and I learned the most important things, things that I did not know. I did not know about twitter, and blogger when I come here then now I know about this two things and I hope they are going to help me a lot in future and when I complete my degree. The conference was really wonderful and and I hope I will keep on utilising twitter and blogger because now I know about them. In the conference they encouraged us that we should use twitter and blogger and to write the stories as this will help us a lot and we can be more perfect. They gave us some assignment to practice writing even though I did not know anything about writing but now I have power on this things, they gave me power and I will keep on practicing. Now journalism is really close to my heard as I got some good advices from different people.
I wish we could come back again here next year and be part of this conference again as it has a lot to learn about, I really wish to get this opportunity again next year. If it would be possible for us to come back I wish they can give us more time so that we can have sufficient time to make some practices as now we had a very short time. I hope when we come back again here I would be perfect with blogger and twitter.
I really enjoyed a lot to be part of people who attended a highway conference in this university. This conference was indeed great. We had some good times here and I wish I would originate here, it is really a good university with good materials and I wish we could get other opportunity to be her e again next year. I experienced a lot in this conference and I believe I am going to be different from student that I am in the same class with.
